Residents of Paktia province warmly welcomed the players of Afghanistan’s national under-17 futsal team who became champions in the 2025 Asian Youth Games.
The team traveled to Paktia on Wednesday, November 5th, and received a warm reception from people in Gardez city.
Afghanistan’s under-17 national futsal team became Asian champions for the first time by defeating Iran 2-1.
This historic achievement has brought joy and pride to the Afghan people across the country.
After visiting Paktia, these champion players will travel to Khost province to benefit from the support of its residents as well. These visits demonstrate the importance of this championship for all Afghan people.
