Saif al-Islam Khyber, spokesperson for the Taliban’s Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, declared that women working alongside men is sinful.

In a message on X platform, he stated that some institutions fail to observe hijab principles and that mixing and nudity are witnessed in these organizations.
Khyber warned that women and men are not allowed to chat or create mixing environments, claiming hundreds of complaints exist against such institutions.

He threatened that if violations occur, institutions will be told that female employees will no longer cooperate with them unless they adhere to Islamic principles.

These statements come while the United Nations previously suspended its activities due to Taliban restrictions on women’s work.

The Taliban group has imposed strict laws against Afghan women that have faced widespread international criticism and condemnation from human rights organizations worldwide.
