A young man named Mohammad Mahdi Sarabi, a resident of Lashkar Gah in Helmand, has committed suicide.
One of his family members told Zawia News Agency that he committed suicide due to family and economic problems, saying: “He was educated, but for some time he had not been in good spirits due to not finding suitable employment.”
This tragic incident reflects the difficult economic and social situation of Afghan youth who struggle with lack of job opportunities and livelihood problems.
Many educated young people in the country, despite having academic qualifications, are unable to find suitable employment.
His funeral ceremony was held yesterday afternoon at Hosseini Grand Mosque and he was buried in Wali Karam cemetery.
