Rashid Khan, captain of Afghanistan’s national cricket team, has launched the Khan Foundation in the Netherlands.
At this ceremony, he stated that his charitable organization will provide services to Afghans in the fields of education, healthcare, drinking water, and natural disaster relief.
Rashid Khan emphasized that only education can bring the new generation to standard levels, and through his foundation, education will be free for poor families and children.
He also considered building medical centers in the country as one of his priorities.
The national cricket team captain, referring to his mother’s poor health condition and lack of medical facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic, said that the country’s medical centers cannot meet the needs of compatriots, and caring for them is one of his priorities.
