Pakistan has declared that Afghan citizens were responsible for recent suicide attacks at the Wana military academy and Islamabad.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi confirmed that the perpetrators came from Afghanistan and carried out these operations.
Pakistan also claims that advanced American weapons left behind after US forces’ withdrawal from Afghanistan were used in these attacks.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan stated that these weapons are being utilized by terrorist groups for attacks inside Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Iran and Turkey have undertaken diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions between the Taliban group and Pakistan.
Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi emphasized resolving disputes through negotiations, and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation welcomed the existing ceasefire.
