Local sources in Takhar province reported that a former soldier named Wahid was killed by unknown individuals with a knife.
The incident occurred two nights ago on Sherkat road, and his body was found in the Mal Bazar area of Takhar.
Wahid, originally from Mandara village in Chal district, had gotten married just one month ago.
Sources say his friends called him out of his house at night via phone, after which he was stabbed to death.
Several people have been arrested for connection with this murder.
