India’s anti-terrorism agency has announced the arrest of four more individuals in connection with last week’s bomb explosion in New Delhi.
The blast killed 10 Indians and injured approximately 32 others.
The Indian government had officially labeled this incident as a “terrorist attack.”
Indian authorities announced that the vehicle used in the explosion has been registered under the name of the arrested suspect. They added that this man is a resident of the disputed Kashmir region.
The car driver who died in the explosion was a first-class doctor from Kashmir.
Local media, citing an investigative source, reported that the driver may have had connections with Islamic militants based in Pakistan.
This explosion occurred near a historical site in the city and is considered the deadliest incident in over a decade.
