Hamid Karzai, former Afghan president, condemned last night’s Pakistani airstrikes on Khost, Paktika, and Kunar provinces, calling them violations of international principles.

He urged Pakistan to act wisely and avoid destructive policies.

According to the Taliban group, the airstrikes—allegedly carried out by the Pakistani military—killed ten people in Khost, including nine children. The attacks have been described as a blatant violation of Afghan sovereignty.

Karzai attributed the tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan to Islamabad’s misguided support for extremism.

He emphasized that building civilized, neighborly relations would benefit both countries.
