The Ministry of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice announced that four youths in Herat province were arrested for imitating characters from the foreign TV series “Thomas Shelby.
” Saif-ul-Islam Khyber, spokesperson for the ministry, stated this behavior contradicts Islamic values and Afghan culture.
These four young men from the Jebrail area of Herat were recently seen on social media wearing clothes similar to the Shelby brothers and roaming the streets.
The ministry emphasized that such behaviors do not align with the culture and religion of the Afghan people and will be dealt with accordingly.
