The Supreme Court of the Taliban group announced that two individuals in Maidan Wardak province were recently punished for extramarital relations.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, December 10.
According to the court’s statement, each individual received 25 lashes and was sentenced to one to fifteen months in prison.
These punishments were carried out by the Taliban judiciary.
