US Republicans have reacted to reports of $45 million sent to the Taliban by the US State Department by demanding a halt to these payments.
Tim Burchett, Republican Representative from Tennessee, announced this on Tuesday, December 9, via a message on X.
He added that he will push weekly to pass a bill in the Senate to stop these payments. These reactions come amid financial reports concerning support to the Taliban.
