Nasir Ahmad Faiq, Afghanistan’s acting representative at the United Nations, stated that humanitarian aid alone cannot resolve Afghanistan’s ongoing crisis.
He emphasized that the country requires a responsive and inclusive government, something that is lacking at present.
Faiq added that while humanitarian assistance is essential, Afghanistan’s problems will not be solved without the establishment of a comprehensive political system that truly represents the people.
He urged the international community to focus on the need for political reforms alongside continued humanitarian support.
His remarks come as Afghanistan continues to face severe humanitarian and political crises, highlighting the urgent need for sustainable and fundamental solutions.
