The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) has claimed responsibility for a targeted attack on a Taliban recruitment center in Kunduz city last night. The group states that the operation was specifically aimed at disrupting Taliban activities in the province.

According to a statement released on Saturday, December 13, two Taliban members were killed in the assault, including a commander identified as Qari Obaida.

The Front also reported that three other fighters were injured during the clash at the center.

This incident comes amidst a reported rise in guerilla attacks against the Taliban group.

Just last week, the National Resistance Front claimed to have killed 17 Taliban fighters in Panjshir, following earlier reports of AFF operations in Faryab province.
