Former NDS chief Rahmatullah Nabil has reacted to recent diplomatic discussions in Tehran, highlighting a shift in how the region views Afghanistan.
He asserts that neighboring countries have developed a coordinated understanding and will no longer allow Afghanistan to become a playground for Pakistan’s intelligence tactics.
Nabil emphasizes that unlike two decades ago, Central Asia is secure, and major powers like China, Russia, and India are vigilant.
The region is reportedly united in preventing the country from sliding back into being a hub for proxy warfare and instability engineered by external actors.
According to Nabil, the balance of power in Asia has fundamentally changed.
He argues that Pakistan can no longer hold regional peace hostage through terror proxies and dual policies, as the neighborhood is now more resilient and aware of these geopolitical maneuvers.
