Hamdullah Fitrat, a deputy spokesman, reported that Taliban leader Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada addressed a gathering of officials in Kandahar.

The speech took place during a three-day reform seminar attended by representatives from various ministries and departments.


Akhundzada stressed that the laws being implemented are derived directly from the religion of Allah and do not reflect personal opinions. He urged all officials to ensure that Sharia is strictly followed in their governance.


The leader also highlighted the vital importance of caring for orphans, widows, the disabled, refugees, and prisoners.

He instructed officials to serve the Afghan people with honesty, mercy, and dedication to religious principles.
