The release of Aditya Dhar’s action movie Dhurandhar has sparked excitement, with Akshaye Khanna stealing the spotlight as the crime lord Rehman Dakait.
Casting director Mukesh Chhabra praised the actor, calling him a “legend” for his intense performance that has taken over social media.
Chhabra revealed that Akshaye is a man of his word who makes his own professional decisions without an entourage.
He noted that the actor arrived alone for the narration and immediately agreed to the role, expressing how much he enjoyed the script right after hearing it.
Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi is also receiving accolades for his reinvented avatar as politician Jameel Jamali.
With strong performances and high anticipation, the film is slated for a grand release on Eid 2026.
