Former President Hamid Karzai has marked the end of the current academic year, noting that 12th-grade graduates are now preparing for the Kankor entrance exams.
He emphasized that education is the fundamental tool for any society’s progress and dignity, urging students to strive for excellence in scientific and social fields.
Karzai highlighted the nation’s critical need for hundreds of thousands of male and female doctors, engineers, and technology experts to achieve self-sufficiency. He encouraged the youth to dedicate themselves to their studies to help build a prosperous and independent Afghanistan.
Concluding his message, he expressed a strong hope for the reopening of schools and universities for Afghan girls. Karzai stated that allowing daughters to return to education is essential for a bright future, enabling them to stand on their own feet and serve their country effectively.
