The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed in its annual report that it carried out a total of 3,573 attacks in 2025, killing 3,818 Pakistani security personnel.

This period is described as one of the deadliest years for Pakistan in the last decade, though the government has yet to react.


According to the report, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the primary focus, with the Pakistani army suffering the highest casualties regarding killed and wounded.

The TTP also claims that hundreds more were injured and significant military equipment and vehicles were seized by their fighters during operations.


August saw the highest number of attacks, with North and South Waziristan, Bannu, and Dera Ismail Khan being the hardest hit areas.

The attacks included bombings, group assaults, car bombs, and laser attacks, extending to the provinces of Balochistan and Punjab as well.
