The National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan has issued a statement urging the Iranian government to respond to popular demands through civil and peaceful means. The council expressed hope that any escalation of tension and instability in Iran can be avoided, and emphasized the important role of people in shaping their own future.
The statement rejected any foreign intervention, provocation, or exploitation of Iran’s protests, stressing that Afghanistan’s experience shows such interference only deepens crises and undermines national sovereignty.
The council further highlighted that peaceful protests are a legitimate and fundamental form of public participation in determining the social and political destiny of a country and must be respected.
