Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is reportedly displeased with doctors at Lilavati Hospital for sharing confidential details about his father, Salim Khan’s, health with the media. The veteran screenwriter, aged 90, was admitted on February 17, 2026, following a minor brain hemorrhage. While he is stable, the Khan family has requested strict privacy and urged the hospital to stop releasing medical updates to the press.
A source close to the family stated that health matters are private and any communication should come directly from the family members. Despite this, Dr. Jalil Parkar had briefed reporters, revealing that Salim Khan underwent a minor procedure and was on ventilator support in the ICU due to high blood pressure, though he emphasized that the condition was not critical and recovery would take time due to age.
Amidst this news, an old interview of Shah Rukh Khan has resurfaced, touching the hearts of fans. In the clip, SRK credits his success to the legendary writer, stating, “I am Shah Rukh Khan today because of Salim Khan.” He recalled how the Khan family’s home in Galaxy Apartments was always open to him for meals and support when he was a struggling actor new to Mumbai.
