US Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced the destruction of nearly 2,000 targets inside Iran during recent operations. Admiral Brad Cooper stated that Iran’s air defense systems have been significantly degraded, along with hundreds of missiles and drones.
In a released statement, Cooper confirmed that 17 Iranian vessels, including an operational submarine, were destroyed. The operation involves over 50,000 troops, 200 fighter jets, and two aircraft carriers.
CENTCOM indicated that more capabilities are being deployed to the region. Meanwhile, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have claimed retaliation strikes against US and Israeli bases in the area.
