On Friday, he stated that Arab nations naively permitted the US to establish these bases expecting genuine protection. However, he claimed Washington merely exploits these facilities for its own strategic interests while protecting only one specific country.
Medvedev strongly urged regional governments to carefully reconsider the necessity of the American military presence on their soil, arguing these expanding bases do not guarantee long-term security.
