Israel Katz, Israel's Defense Minister, confirmed that Ismail Khatib, Iran's Intelligence Minister, was killed in Tuesday evening attacks on Tehran. Khatib had been appointed as Iran's Intelligence Minister since 2021 and was serving in that position.
Israel's Defense Minister said Khatib was responsible for the regime's internal killing and suppression system in Iran and promoting external threats. Katz said significant surprises are expected on all fronts today that will intensify our war against Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
