The International Committee of the Red Cross announced that recent clashes between the Taliban and Pakistan have forced thousands of families to leave their homes. According to the committee, these families have lost all their possessions.
The committee added that the process of providing assistance to affected and displaced families has begun. One displaced person said intense fighting started at night in Torkham and the attacks caused heavy damage.
