Pakistan has officially requested Russia to step in and mediate its ongoing border conflicts with the Taliban administration. The Russian newspaper Izvestia reported this development based on statements from a top Pakistani diplomat.

Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan's ambassador to Russia, confirmed that Islamabad is seeking Moscow's diplomatic assistance to resolve the escalating tensions. The clashes have caused significant disruptions and casualties along the shared border in recent weeks.
