Severe rainfall and the subsequent collapse of two house roofs in Nangarhar province have resulted in the tragic death of one woman and left four others injured. This devastating incident primarily occurred in the Ghani Khel district.
Police officials from the Taliban administration in Nangarhar confirmed the event, noting that the injured were immediately rushed to a local hospital for medical treatment. A similar structural collapse was also reported in the nearby Nazyan district.
Recently, continuous heavy rains and massive floods have caused significant casualties and financial losses across multiple Afghan provinces. Authorities report that dozens of residential homes have been destroyed, heavily damaging hundreds of acres of agricultural land.
