The Ministry of Interior of the Taliban government has officially confirmed that a brutal attack by unknown gunmen in Herat province has left at least seven innocent civilians dead and thirteen others severely injured.
The tragic incident took place on Friday afternoon, April 10, at a local recreation area in Qabarzon village of Enjil district. The armed attackers, riding motorcycles, suddenly opened fire on defenseless people who had gathered for their weekend break.
Taliban security officials have stated that the health condition of several injured victims remains highly critical. Initial investigations and intensive search operations are currently underway across the region to identify, track down, and capture the ruthless perpetrators behind this deadly assault.
