Local authorities of the Taliban government in Herat province have officially announced the prompt arrest of a key suspect in connection with yesterday's devastating shooting in Enjil district.
The head of information and culture for the Taliban in the province stated that four people were killed and fifteen others, including women and children, were unfortunately injured. However, the Ministry of Interior had previously reported significantly higher casualty figures for this incident.
The armed assault occurred around three in the afternoon near the Sayed Mohammad Agha shrine, a popular local spot. Security forces are continuing their intensive efforts to track down and apprehend other individuals involved in organizing and executing the attack.
