Local officials from the Taliban government have reported that seven severe traffic accidents in Logar province have left two people dead. These tragic incidents occurred over the past 24 hours across various districts and highways in the region.

Authorities stated that eight other individuals were critically injured in these crashes and were immediately transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment. Medical personnel have reported that the health condition of six patients remains highly unstable and critical.

Speeding and extreme driver negligence have been identified as the primary causes of these fatal collisions. However, Afghan citizens heavily criticize the poor road infrastructure and the complete lack of traffic signs, which contribute to a massive rise in deadly accidents nationwide.
