Local sources in Badghis province have terrifyingly reported that three armed men, deceitfully introducing themselves as Taliban government forces, entered a residential home intending to commit a robbery. This shocking incident occurred recently in the first district of Qala-e-Naw city, specifically targeting the residence of a local doctor named Ghulam Sakhi Hanifi.
According to alarmed witnesses, the armed individuals forcefully entered the home immediately after the homeowner opened the door, falsely claiming official authority. Once inside, the violent intruders ruthlessly beat the terrified family members, including the women, aggressively demanding that they hand over their hidden gold and cash.
Prompted by the loud screams of the victims, courageous local residents quickly gathered, prompting Taliban security forces to swiftly arrive at the scene. One suspect was apprehended right inside the house, while the other two fleeing accomplices were arrested shortly after, confessing they hailed from the Ab Kamari district.
