Local sources in Ghor province have reported that intelligence forces of the Taliban administration detained at least thirty people from the Dawlat Yar district. These individuals were arrested quite suddenly and immediately transferred to a completely undisclosed location.
Reports indicate that the security forces simultaneously raided the private home of a former commander, detaining five of his close relatives during the operation. These sweeping arbitrary arrests have triggered a massive wave of fear and deep concern among local residents.
According to community sources, the detainees were specifically accused of maintaining links with opposition groups and engaging in restricted political activities. The Taliban administration has not yet provided any official comments regarding these arrests or the current status of the prisoners.
