According to recent reports, Sayed Jawed Hashimi, the former ambassador of Afghanistan to Kuwait, ended his duties approximately one month ago. Following his departure, the administration of this important diplomatic mission was entirely handed over to individuals affiliated with the Taliban government.
The Taliban government had actively initiated efforts to gain influence within this specific embassy nearly two years ago. At that time, they successfully appointed and positioned one of their own loyal diplomats as the first secretary in the diplomatic mission.
