The Taliban government has dispatched a high-level delegation to Panjab district in Bamiyan province to resolve recent tensions between Kuchi nomads and local residents. These conflicts have primarily erupted over the use of pastures.
The delegation, which includes senior provincial officials, held a joint meeting with the conflicting parties. They emphasized that the disputed areas will be carefully examined and a final decision will be made based on reliable evidence.
Tensions between Kuchi nomads and local communities over grazing lands have always been a serious challenge in various parts of Afghanistan. Previously, similar clashes were reported in Takhar province, resulting in casualties and property damage.
