Local sources report that several students were targeted in an attack near the boys dormitory at Kabul University. The incident occurred on Friday evening as students were walking towards the dining hall for their meal, resulting in multiple injuries among the university youth.
Eyewitnesses and student sources confirmed that the sudden attack was carried out using a hand grenade. Immediately following the explosion, the injured students were rushed to a nearby hospital to receive urgent medical care and have their health conditions closely monitored by professionals.
Following the evacuation of the wounded to the hospital, remaining students were ordered back to their rooms, with authorities locking down the dormitory premises.
