Russia launched a ballistic missile and drone attack on Kyiv and surrounding areas early Wednesday morning. Ukrainian officials confirmed at least 14 people were killed and 22 others were wounded in the strike.
The head of Kyiv's military administration said the enemy had once again launched a large-scale heavy assault on the Kyiv region. Air raid sirens were active for over an hour as missiles struck residential buildings and warehouses.
Russia's Defense Ministry claimed it targeted military logistics and supply centers. The attack is considered one of the deadliest aerial strikes on the Ukrainian capital this year.
