A court in Chandigarh, India, has summoned Bollywood star Salman Khan, his sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri, and executives of "Style & Content Jewellery" in connection with a fraud complaint related to a "Being Human" branded jewelry store. The complaint was filed by businessman Arun Gupta of Chandigarh.
Gupta claims he invested approximately 30 million Indian rupees to open the jewelry store based on promises made by company officials, but after operations began, the company failed to fulfill its obligations, including consistent product supply. The summoned individuals must appear in court on October 5, 2026.
Salman Khan has been summoned due to his association with the "Being Human" brand, of which he is the founder. The company has stated that Khan was not personally a party to the disputed contract. The court has only issued summons at this stage and has not ruled on the validity of any claims.
