The Green Unit led by Amrullah Saleh said three of its fighters were killed in clashes with the Taliban in Mehtarlam city of Laghman province.
One of the deceased was identified as Habibullah, who served as the operational chief of the unit in Laghman.
The unit claimed that 13 Taliban members including several commanders were killed in an attack on a Taliban Ranger vehicle.
