The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) announced that its forces carried out a rocket attack on a Taliban checkpoint in the Hesa-e-Awal Kohistan district of Kapisa province. The front claimed that at least three Taliban fighters were killed and two others were wounded in the attack.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the front wrote that the attack occurred around 2:00 AM in the Puza-e-Khum Zargar area. The Freedom Front emphasized that its forces were unharmed in this operation.

The anti-Taliban group also stated that local Taliban forces had recently intensified their "harassment of the people" in the Khum Zargar area, and this attack was a response. These claims cannot be independently verified.

A video released by the Freedom Front shows a moment of explosion, the sound of gunfire, and flames rising in the dark of night. The authenticity of this video has not been independently confirmed either.

This political-military movement has increased its attacks on Taliban positions in various provinces in recent weeks. According to Afghanistan International, the Freedom Front also claimed responsibility for an explosion on Wednesday morning in Faizabad, the capital of Badakhshan province.

The front announced that it had killed four Taliban members in a targeted operation against a Hilux vehicle carrying them in Faizabad. Simultaneously, Nasratullah Fateh, a spokesman for the Freedom Front, confirmed that the front's forces were engaged in clashes with the Taliban in the Kamdesh district of Nuristan.
