The grand launch event for a song from the highly anticipated film "Ramayana Part 1," which was scheduled to take place on October 11 in Ramtek, Maharashtra, has been postponed. The film, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Ravie Dubey, is one of the most expensive and awaited Bollywood projects of the year.
Local MLA Ashish Jaiswal confirmed the postponement of the event via an Instagram video. He cited "unavoidable reasons" for the delay and stated that the current priority is to provide relief to farmers affected by a severe drought in the state. Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Ravie Dubey were expected to attend the grand ceremony.
In his message, Jaiswal added that the film's production team had agreed with the decision and pledged to assist the region's farmers. "The purpose of this program was to highlight the importance of the land of Ramtek, which was sanctified by the touch of the feet of Lord Shri Ramchandra," he wrote.
"Ramayana Part 1" is slated for release during this year's Diwali festival, and its promotional activities have already begun. The cancellation of this event, which was set to coincide with the first day of the Navratri festival, may affect the film's promotional schedule, but the production team has expressed hope that a new date for the ceremony will be announced soon.
The film, based on the ancient Hindu epic Ramayana, has garnered significant attention, and fans are eagerly awaiting to see the reimagining of this great story on the big screen with their favorite stars.
