The car of former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was attacked in London on Thursday, with reports indicating its windows were smashed. This is reportedly the third such incident involving Sharif's vehicle in the city.

The attack was carried out by two masked individuals in front of the Avenfield apartments, where the Sharif family resides in London. The assailants allegedly used a hard object to strike the vehicle before fleeing the scene.

London police have launched an investigation into the incident and are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the perpetrators. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

Nawaz Sharif, who has a history of heart problems, diabetes, and blood pressure issues, has been in London for medical treatment since 2019, living there with his family. He was serving a prison sentence in Pakistan on corruption charges before being granted permission to leave the country for medical reasons.

The repeated attacks on Sharif's car have raised concerns about his and his family's security. His supporters have attributed these attacks to his political opponents, though these claims have not been substantiated.
