The natural disaster management authority of the Taliban government reported that flash floods across seven provinces have caused casualties and property damage over the past twenty-four hours. One person died in Maidan Wardak province, and another was injured in Ghazni. The heavy flooding severely impacted areas in Kapisa, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Khost, Paktia, Laghman, and Nuristan provinces. Nuristan suffered significant structural damage, with sixty-three houses completely destroyed and another one hundred and fifteen homes partially damaged. Public infrastructure was also hit hard by the natural disaster.
