The organization emphasized that this immediate response is necessary to treat the injured victims and support local health facilities effectively.According to the ICRC, these medical supplies have already been distributed to local hospitals in Gardez city, the capital of Paktia province, as well as in the Samkani district and several other healthcare centers. This rapid deployment of resources is considered crucial for saving the lives of those severely wounded.This humanitarian intervention comes after the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan reported devastating consequences from the airstrikes.
