Abolfazl Zohrevand, Iran’s former ambassador to Kabul and current member of Iran’s National Security Commission, declared that global and regional developments are moving toward dismantling the Taliban group’s control.
He told Tahririeh news channel that the Taliban have also realized their situation is deteriorating.
According to Zohrevand, the Taliban project has reached a dead end, and the group will ultimately be destroyed by either Western forces or their opponents.
The confrontation between East and West in Afghanistan has intensified significantly.
The former Iranian ambassador also referenced the transfer of thousands of Afghan military personnel to America and Britain, stating these forces are being organized for future developments.
Reports suggest the Taliban intend to secretly hand over Bagram base to American forces, creating a difficult position for the group.
