Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi revealed he was thrown out of films and boycotted after speaking against Salman Khan in 2003.
In an interview with Prakhar Gupta on YouTube, he recalled how his life changed after the press conference where he accused Salman Khan of threatening him. At that time, he was allegedly in a relationship with Aishwarya Rai.
Vivek, once considered a rising Bollywood star, said his family received threatening calls from the underworld. He added that now when he looks back, he “laughs,” but finding this perspective took time.
Vivek mentioned that forgetting his mother’s tears and father’s reaction to the incident was the hardest part of this ordeal.
He emphasized that the ultimate goal is to let go of all these negative memories because they generate more bad feelings.
Vivek, now a successful businessman, described the controversy as immature and said he no longer holds any bitterness.
