The Afghanistan Freedom Front announced that its forces attacked a vehicle carrying Taliban fighters in Kabul, killing two members of the group and wounding one.
The attack took place on Thursday evening, October 15, in the Kote Sangi area of Kabul’s fifth security district.
The Freedom Front stated in a newsletter that none of its forces were harmed in this attack.
The group targeted a Hilux-type vehicle carrying Taliban fighters.
Earlier, a resident of Kote Sangi in Kabul reported hearing an explosion sound in the area on Thursday evening.
Taliban authorities have not yet commented on this attack.
This assault was carried out as part of armed resistance against the Taliban government.
The Afghanistan Freedom Front is one of the opposition groups that began armed activities after the Taliban took control of the country.
