Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT), owner of the Daily Mail newspaper, has signed a preliminary agreement to purchase The Telegraph newspaper for £500 million, equivalent to approximately $650 million.
This major transaction represents a significant move in the British media industry.
The acquisition has not yet been finalized, with both parties entering into negotiations and legal due diligence processes. DMGT, which owns the Daily Mail, will strengthen its position in the British media market through this purchase.
