Last night, a man named Rumal was killed by unknown armed individuals in Watpur village, Qala-e-Naw area, Sar Khord district of Nangarhar province. His body was found abandoned in nearby fields.
Villagers told Zawia News that Rumal had no personal enemies, suggesting the killing was financially motivated.
This is the second recent murder in the district, but the perpetrators remain unidentified. The local community is growing increasingly concerned.
