Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that his government officially recognizes Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization . In a statement, Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine will never forget the destruction caused by Iranian “Shahed” drones targeting its cities and people .
This move follows a similar designation by the European Union. Zelenskyy stated that the “case is closed” for Ukraine, accusing Tehran of funding global violence. Meanwhile, Iranian lawmakers responded angrily, chanting slogans against the US and Israel, and labeling EU soldiers as terrorists in retaliation .
