Indian media outlets have tragically confirmed that two missing Indian sailors lost their lives following recent Iranian missile strikes on oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.
One of the victims, formally identified as Ashish Kumar, was killed on Sunday when the “Skylight” tanker was directly targeted in this highly strategic global waterway.
This deadly incident comes after Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps formally announced on Monday that the Strait of Hormuz is closed to all international shipping operations.
