The German government has deported at least thirty-two Afghan migrants on a chartered flight from Leipzig airport back to Kabul. The group consisted entirely of men who had been convicted of serious criminal offenses while living in Germany.

Germany's Interior Ministry confirmed that these organized deportations were conducted through a direct agreement with the Taliban government. Although Germany does not officially recognize the Taliban government, they are maintaining practical communication to enforce their updated immigration policies.

The deportation flight faced opposition, with dozens of protesters gathering at the airport terminal to demonstrate against the move. This controversial policy continues to spark significant political debate and criticism among human rights advocates within the German parliament.
